In some rare cases, the server that builds the license files, makes a mistake missing to add the extension to the file. You can fix this problem, manually add the correct extension to the file.

Depending on your application, here is the extension that the license file you downloaded needs to work:

Notepad

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.notepadlicense

Clean Text

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.cleantextlicense

Hide Folders

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.hidefolderslicense

Protect Files

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.protectfileslicense

Secret Folder

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.secretfolderlicense

Slideshow

The correct file extension of the license file is: “.slideshowlicense

You can add the file extension, by selecting the file in the Finder and choosing "Get Info" from the "File" menu (or pressing Command-I), then editing the Name & Extension field.
